When we say that humans cant understand the love of God, we are saying that we dont realize He actually loves us. We cant seem to give up this idea that God has OCD and cant stand to be around us. Our own relationships are so filled with other motives that we place those compromises on Gods love too. God doesnt love us because Jesus died for us, Jesus died for us because God loves us. Gods love is the constant. Sinning less helps you, but does not increase a love God has for you that is already pure and infinite. When this horse is in front of this cart, things start working. Religion has it backwards. Like these snowflakes I photograph, we are each unique, and indescribably beautiful...a thrill to God.
