When we say that the object of faith is the person and work of Christ by this we dont intend that it is anything less than the intelligent endorsement of the full counsel of God revealed to the creature created in his image and likeness, but that the fulfillment of all that is either inherent or explicit in sacred scripture or in the revelation of God in nature itself is best understood and most beneficially exhibited in Christ and Him Crucified and not through any means independent of Him.
