When we serve life to others it tends to keeps us interesting and in shape. When we expect life to be served to us as an entitlement, it tends to make us apathetic and weak. The Biblical balance is great! God gave to us and wants us to give to others. We are called to give mercy, grace around us and praise above us. Nowhere have I read that we are called to withhold mercy and grace or called to be grumpy. I have read where we step away from those who bring great harm, claiming Christ but wanting to live their own way without mercy and grace. If we all withheld and did life our own way, how could hope of the world in Christ be seen or heard by those whose eyes and ears are not convinced? Is your light shining? Do you have a lamp of mercy and a full measure of graceful anointment of oil in your window? Is your soul singing? Let’s face it, whether we known it or not, we are either drawing people to Christ or basically chasing them away. One day I hope to hear well done good and faithful servant. Not for what the old man did wrong but for what this grateful man in Christ is becoming. Blessing to you today from Brother Tom ©tsa2013
