When we study the life and times of great leaders, we take note of their strong points and their weaknesses. Some good examples are Moses, who had a problem with anger; Solomon who had a problem with women and David who committed murder. It is important we pay attention to both the areas they did very well and the areas they failed, so that we learn to avoid their mistakes while trying to achieve the good things they did. Muhammad was a great leader no doubt but he had his weaknesses too. In fact, Quran 48:1-2 talks about Allah forgiving the sins of Prophet Muhammad. As we try to emulate the noble prophet who we are told is the best example for mankind, we need to know some of the sins he committed, so that I would be able to avoid them.
