When we talk about States Rights are we talking about the state governments right to take away municipalities rights to govern themselves. Because that is TOTALLY what is happening. Gov. Fallin and the clowns in our state legislature took away our rights to make our own laws governing minimum wage and vacation and sick leave. Senator Barrington decided that he would be the one to make our decision for us regarding legalization of marijuana, and I wouldnt be surprised if we saw a bill making it illegal for municipalities to vote on that, too. They passed the minimum wage bs because ALEC told them to, and they had to hurry because there was activism trying to raise the wage in OKC! And they knew the movement would grow because THEY KNOW THE PEOPLE WANT THIS or will if it continue s to be up for debate. Just like pot. They do not want us to participate in our own governance. And apparently were all pretty cool with that.
