When we talk about work we talk about ourselves, our education, - TopicsExpress

When we talk about work we talk about ourselves, our education, skills and so on. What Mr Abbott is talking about is the value of our work-labour-skills employed by business owners. When we analyse what work actually is we come up with an amazing scenario. The necessity to obtain permission of the owners of resources to gain access to them has universally entailed one main condition: those needing access have agreed to surrender a portion of their work-product to those who control the resources. Thus the act of work, especially under Abbott, as the manner in which human energy is concerted in Australia today, is inextricable from exploitation. That is a word before which I and many of my colleagues tend to wince. Abbott is sharpening, with his veiled work-choices, our social-work-tax paying experience, and there are people, moving amongst us, whom actually are prepared to vote for such exploitation, not only of themselves and members of their own families, but also amongst ignorant Australians in general. It just goes to show the power of ideology and how dictatorships are born.
