When we were buried with Christ into the lower parts of the earth - TopicsExpress

When we were buried with Christ into the lower parts of the earth by being buried with him in water by the power of the resurrection we were raised a new creation. We were not on the earth but we were in the earth under the water as Jesus was in the earth after his death and before his resurrection to make it possible for our sins to be forgiven. So by grace through faith we are adopted into the family of God by the resurrection. As the earth did not resurrect Jesus so the water does not forgive us but it’s through the resurrection that we are forgiven by having our dead body of sin buried with Christ and raised with Him from the earth. Ephesians 2:1 begins with the walking dead and how that obedient people to the gospel in Ephesus were made alive. “And you did he make alive, when ye were dead through your trespasses and sins, 2 wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now works in in the sons of disobedience; 3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:” -- Ephesians 4:9 “(Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)”. 4 “but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have you been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.” Except the seed be buried and die it cannot produce fruit. The seed will change into a plant that is productive. Christ descended into the lower parts of the earth, but he was resurrected immortal. If we want to live again with Christ and be productive on the earth we also must descend with Christ into the lower parts of the earth so that Christ by the power of His resurrection can bring us up with him into his immortal body. When we by the power the Christ’s resurrection we are buried in the earth (we are in the earth when were under the water) in the likeness of his burial and resurrection we are raised with Him from the lower parts of the earth and made free from sin. Our spirits are free from the condemnation of sin because by grace we are saved through faith. It is not by our addition to the world of God or subtraction from it that we are saved, but we must be completely obedient to the Emperor of heaven and earth as He gave commandments from heaven in the gospel of Acts 2:21-41.
