When we were in Germany last week, Thomas and Iris brought a wonderfully colourful vegetable home for dinner: chard. I had not known this vegetable before going to Germany and I actually know its German name ‘Mangold’ better than the English one but I loved it the first time we had it. It is a bit similar to spinach in taste and with its high about of vitamins, fiber and proteins it is very healthy as well! Together with that we had potatoes straight out of Thomas and Iris’ wonderful garden. Of course we always prepare this mixture in our way – and that’s how you now get our recipe for it:
