When we were on holiday in Namibia Bernardo Fiamozzi and I went to - TopicsExpress

When we were on holiday in Namibia Bernardo Fiamozzi and I went to the Cancer Ward for children at the state hospital. We brought the kids some colouring books and crayons and some sweets. We went there to just be with the children and bring them some moments of joy by making them smile. It was an amazing experience. These children show so much courage and it was inspiring to be around them. There was this one boy, Brandon, with eye cancer. He had no eyes. He was walking around the ward like he owned the place. He followed us around the whole time with such a spirit for life. It makes me present to the fact that we are so easy to complain about the little things. Our complaints are just a cover up. Covering up our own smallness. Our fear. That child was fearless. We all can be fearless in life and live a life we love. A life where I make a difference in the world. To make it a better place for everyone. That is what my life is for. Bernardo and I will one day start our own charity that will provide palliative care for children in places in the world where there is none.
