When we worry, try to control our circumstances and make our marriage restoration or spouse our idol, we have no peace! The peace comes only when you truly Let Go and Let God carry your burdens. Leave your marriage and your spouse at the foot of the cross and work on your walk with Jesus, nothing but good comes from walking with The Lord. Ask Him to change you and concentrate on that. Your spouse will notice the changes in you and be drawn to that. And they will feel you releasing them, therefore causing them to stop running. This doesnt mean you stop doing spiritual warfare on your spouses behalf, it just means letting them go and letting God bring them back.
