When were little we take things for granted...things that seem unimportant or trivial at the time sometimes become of the memories that stand out the most when you grow up. My grandmother used to make some really delicious hot tea during the winter...When I was visiting her at the nursing home yesterday I was telling her how I had tried to recreate it and failed. I asked her how to make it but she couldnt remember [she has Alzheimers]. So I can keep trying to make it but I doubt Ill ever make it just like hers. I want it because its one of those things that makes it feel like Christmas...heh. Oh well. At least I still have my Mawmaw around to visit, even if I cant have any of her cooking. :)
