When will the Socialists learn ? If you borrow/print money and cant pay it back, and know you cant pay it back, it is theft. Quantitative Easing is not expanding the economy. It is stealing from the citizens of the future. It creates inflation and inflation is in the interests of governments who overborrow, like UK governments of the past 30 years. Investing in a project requires an analysis of whether or not that project is going to make a return which does not devalue the investment. That is the only way to create wealth for us all to share. The problem with the UK is that we have only two parties, with their opposing points of view. The Conservatives (who control the vast majority of available capital) do not believe in sharing the proceeds of that capital amongst those who do the work to make it happen. And the Labour Party believes that your own net income (after tax, created by slaving your guts out) doesnt belong to you and can be taken away, because they want it in government, and have a right to take it because they know better than you do how it should be spent, and you have no right to decide for yourself. Noone has the right to something for nothing, but we have to find a way of 1) sharing the proceeds amongst those who have contributed to making the profit on the capital, and 2) making capital available for good wealth creating ideas that will make a return (now that banks are no longer lending to us), and 3) expecting everyone to make a contribution rather than stand on their human rights to be looked after at someone elses expense. UKIP is the only party looking seriously for answers to these challenges.
