When will the church take a serious look at replacement theology - TopicsExpress

When will the church take a serious look at replacement theology and its dirty history and start teaching the truth of the establishment of the church? I do not agree Dr. Brown has complete truth down pat either. It always seems to me that both sides of any theological issue seem to have *some* truth, but not the whole truth and both fight to defend their position as if they are absolutely right. We should not be defending for our position on anything, but Gods position and what the word actually says. I see very little scriptural support to defend either side. I see a lot of opinions and feelings.. and scare tactics warning to not make deadly errors (Meaning what? God is going to kill those who do not fully agree with his position?) and then the scare tactic to remind the world of the evil that it is capable of and to not repeat it. Then of course the name calling.. He is basically saying, you are teetering on being anti-Israel if you do not agree with me. All dire warnings, but what does scripture say? I think it is coming time for the church to sit down and have a point by point discussion of what the scriptures say. Christ did not come here to create two folds. He came to build his church, not churches. The church is made up of Jews and Gentiles. All inclusive, none excluded. Christ came to save all and any who will BELIEVE by faith.. Both sides are wrong in my opinion. Ephesians 2:11-22 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision [GENTILES] by that which is called the Circumcision [JEWS] in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye [GENTILES] were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye [GENTILES] who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both [JEWS AND GENTILES] ONE, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain ONE NEW MAN [JEWS AND GENTILES], so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both [JEWS AND GENTILES] unto God in ONE BODY [JEWS AND GENTILES] by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both [JEWS AND GENTILES] have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye [GENTILES] are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye [GENTILES] also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
