When will this sort of crap end. My son 8 years old was playing in the all ontario lacrosse tournament this past summer and almost entirely Hotinonsonni iroquios team, and they actually had to play against Northern Ontario team, I think Sudbury who team name was the Mohawks. They even were chanting a silly little song as they came out of the dressing room. the boys on our team were totally in shock. So were the parents. So even here in Canada this same sort of racism exists and is seen as totally ok and normal. Imagine the outrage if a team called them selves the Niggers, or the terrorist with Arab imagery, or the Nazis. Like seriously this is just plain wrong. no wonder there are 3000 plus unsolved murders indigenous women in the country, and 50,000 indigenous children murdered in residential schools and nobody was sent to jail. Just makes me sick.
