When will this storm calm down? Vision weaves through my eyes Goes down deep n touch my heart And goes up in my mind And my mind suddenly draws imagination. My heart is hit with pain! Tears fall down my face! As my mind goes on drawing an imagination of this situation! Of innocent lives That are stole away by these virulent storms In our beautiful Continent – Africa! And I ask myself When will these storms calm down? Incessant wars leave us destitute Ebola drastically grind And throw us behind the grave in no time Abject poverty is ravaging our homes and leaves us with no hope Criminals wander like rats and police don’t cope Tears trickle and dry in our eyes every day Our minds get bewildered and insane As these storms go on taking tolls in our lives!
