When working in indie film, you come across all kinds of people. Ive been pretty lucky that with a few notable exceptions, most of my experiences have been positive. Some filmmakers go far beyond simply being fun or easy to work with. Every interaction is great, helpful and clearly aimed toward relieving mutual headaches rather than compounding them. My recent gig working color correction on House of Manson has been such an experience. Thank you Brandon Slagle & Devanny Pinn for the opportunity and for being so damned awesome to work with. (And seriously. Go see House of Manson as SOON AS YOU CAN! Its great. Ryan Kiser is freaking phenomenal, Little Miss Risk is stellar and Suzi Lorraine knocks it out of the park. The whole cast is astonishing and its a freaking pretty movie. Im damn proud to be even a tiny little pixel-tweaking cog in this machine!)
