When working through the steps I humbly asked God to remove my shortcomings. (7th step of aa). You see I realized that the problems I had were not with people around me, it was with in my self. I had to renew my inner man, my thoughts, my doings, my whole being. Then I had a new problem, I could not do this in my own power. I needed power greater than me to do it. I turned to Him and cried out: "Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me." Ps. 51,11. And He heard my cry and "gave me a new heart and put in me a new spirit; He removed from me my heart of stone and gave you a heart of flesh." Ez. 36,12. Today He has done this yet again!
