When you advocate for a personhood law -- written in sentences that silence a thousand counterpoints, bought and sold for massive political favor and power, overriding the myriad nuances of each womans body and pregnancy, trampling her will, pitting her in an ongoing power struggle with a massive institution, enforced by police with guns and a state with cages -- dont then appeal to me about the radical fragility of life and that delicate moment when a cell is first changed.
