When you are a boy with a twin brother and you live in the country on a farm and you have cerebral palsy if you want to keep up with your brother and your family you better be like the boy called Sue (see Johnny Cash) and get tough or else. I guess thats what I did. I did about everything that my brother did. Heck I even roped steers. Was I expected to be good at what I did? Not really I wasnt even expected to do it. Why was I able to do it. I believe because God made it possible. I was called but not qualified on my own but God qualifies you for what He has planned. Look at Abrahams wife Sarah. She laughed when told she was going to have a baby but look out she did. Moses parted the water. Should he have been able to? Ha no.. But He did. Elizabeth the mother of John was very old when he was born. The Bible says she was past the age of having kids .. But she did. Mary was a virgin, but she gave birth to Jesus. Look a David just a boy with a rock and he killed a giant. Look at the Apostles. Paul was a Christian killer but God made him the greatest. Peter walked on water. All of them healed people and preformed miracles. Were they supposed to be able to do that? No, not one of any of these were qualified to do what they did before God called them but when He called them they became qualified. I struggle with this a lot. I know God has called me to do somethings but I am afraid. What if I fail. What if I dont really understand what God wants. What if what if what if. I asked that you pray for me in my last post. Thats why. I know that God is in control of all things and just like those I listed above Im hesitant but I just got to pull my boots up and get to it. Do you have things like this?
