When you are faced with enemies, in order to maintain honor and the upper hand, opportunity and anticipation are reasonable. After all, you are simply trying to maintain honor in a dishonorable situation. However, when you have already been given honor and you are on the moral path, to narrate the signs you see towards furthering the path of good is to be disingenuous to those who have set you on the right path. In that way the signs you see, that tell you you are beautiful, that you are worthy, that you can take a chance, that you are a winner, become very dishonorable indeed. The fact is, you see those signs because you believe them, but being a winner, being a beautiful person does not mean allowing your own sense of worth to cloud your judgement into straying from the righteous path merely because you are interpreting a shortcut where there is none. In that way, never allow yourself to think you are enough of a winner to trump the process of ethical progress. Do not become your own worst enemy and do not lose faith in the truth of people that have given you the honor of progressing along a most ethical path. To put narrative to their words, to interpret signs and messages in a way that takes away from those you trust, is more dangerous than simply seeking an honorable way to defeat dishonorable people. Do not seek to defeat honorable people using the same tactics, why would you want to defeat honor in the first place? Think about it...
