When you are homebound like I am due to disabilities, it is hard - TopicsExpress

When you are homebound like I am due to disabilities, it is hard to put into words how wonderful it is to have friends that come get you and take you out of your small world. Lisanne Cooper does that all the time for me. Be it a small shopping trip, coffee at the local Starbucks or going to see a favored author read some of her work today in LA. There was quite a time when I had to turn down many invites because I physically was not able to do it.I havent been able to drive for over two years, but my eyes are being worked on and I expect to be driving by June, plus I had an attack if Sciatica so severe I was bedridden for weeks, then wheelchair bound for months, then dependent on a walker, then a cane and just recently I can report I can now walk un-aided! But Ive struggled with a very difficult period of time being stuck inside my own four walls, and seriously, without reading and the Internet to reach out to people, and without friends like Lisanne and my awesome sisters Pamela Lew-Javert, and Sharon Sundy and MOST of all without the strong and steady support and presence of my husband Don Eazell, and my wonderful kids too-I dont think I would have made it through the past 8-9 months. i also need to thank God. Prayers and his grace got me through dome tough times too.
