When you are walking, you will over hear people talking. Sometimes they say terrible things, other times they say good things. You do not condemn yourself because of what you overheard because the words dont come from you. Likewise, there is a spirit living in your body. As you walk about, that spirit overhears the conversation other spirits are having. You overhear them in form of thoughts. Sometimes you get terrible thoughts, other times good thoughts. God does not condemn you for overhearing evil thoughts. Never think that those thoughts came from you or that they defile you. That is what evil spiritual beings want you to believe. The Bible teaches us to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God-2 Corinthians 10:5. The sin is not in having the imagination. We all have them. The sin is in succumbing to it rather than casting it down.
