When you ask God to deliver you from something, there will be tests of faith to see how you respond. And, it can take time to get your deliverance. That means, theres a process and you have to go through the process and sometimes the process does not feel good. Its not that HE cant do it, or wont do it, its do you trust him enough TO do it? He will present those things/people/situations to you down the road. It may be in a totally different season of your life. Because they werent there/around for a spell, does not mean the opportunity wasnt being created or you have been delivered. When they pop up, remember, its a TEST!!!! Those things, people, situations, you ask God to remove, will surface again until you pass what hes trying to show you. Its a test! For example, youre in school and have done fairly well on all your tests during the semester leading up to the final exam. This particular class you have to not only pass the tests throughout the semester, but you MUST also pass the final. If you fail the final, you fail the class. That means, you have to retake the class until you pass the final as well. Same thing with God. You cant move on to the next level in God, until youve mastered the previous. Thats all a test is....to see if youve mastered the necessary skill to go higher. God wants you to see that you are not ready (thank you Jesus for showing me I wasnt ready for my test). He knew you would fail when you asked for deliverance because what youre asking for is in your heart. Man looks at the outward, but God looks at the heart. He knows what is in each of our hearts and the heart is desperately wicked. What happens is, when things are going good, we sit God to the side and pick him up when we need him. So when all hell breaks loose, we react according to our flesh. Please know, even in the good times and blessings, ALWAYS keep God in the middle. This way, when the world comes against you and the weight is on your shoulders, God is right there fighting for you. Let God fight your battles. Put on the whole armour of God, Ephesians 6:10-18 to fight against the devil schemes. We as people or suppose to be children of God, gotta stop saying the devil made me do it (oooo I got that bad) but God. Guess what, the devil has NO power. He does nothing God hasnt given him permission to do. So what are you going to do? Will you pass the test? Or, will you surrender to your flesh? Someone once told me, if you keep going through the same thing and not getting a different result, its because you havent passed the test. I KNOW I have failed many tests and still failing, but praise God for the revealation. I am tired of failing. You too, will continue to be tested and fail until you completely surrender to HIS will! On this day, I repent of every thing that was not of God....evil thoughts, words, attitudes, tempers, plots, and plans to do wrong. I know better. When you know better, you do better.
