When you buy insurance for your healthcare, what you are really buying is a bureaucracy that stands between you and your Doctor. This bureaucracy doesnt work for free, so it adds to the cost of your healthcare. Additionally, while they are not healthcare professionals, they will interfere with the relationship between you and your Doctor which may actually result in a denial of healthcare that a Doctor prescribes for your benefit. Keeping that in mind, when the government also gets involved with your health care, you are getting a much more expensive bureaucracy on top of the insurance bureaucracy, so the costs cannot help but accelerate and neither can the interference in your health care. ~Ronald E.
