When you cant find the original parts what do you do? We were faced with that question during a recent Mini Moke restoration when we needed to deal with bumpers. The answer was to make them ourselves. We fabricated these bumpers in house with slightly heavier duty tubing than the original. Everything was powder coated to match the color scheme of the car and was finished off nicely with Delrin plugs on the tube ends. Delrin is a bit more exotic of a material than necessary but is worth the extra expense as it will outlive its rubber counterpart. More important was the fact that the customer loved the result.
