When you come to me for tax preparation and you are a contractor or self-employed, I set you up on estimated payments; I provide vouchers and mailing labels, and explain how to make the payments. Its up to you to actually write the checks and mail them to the IRS four times a year. But, when the next tax season rolls around and I find that a client followed through on making all the payments, I wish I had confetti to throw, thats how happy it makes me.
