When you get older, you get better... More refined with what you do in life and how you do it. As most people may do when hitting a chronological milestone, when I turned 30 I thought my life was going to change drastically. Part of me thought that I was going to shrivel up, but instead I developed nice care lines. ;) Part of me also thought my social life was going to change- that perhaps things would be more lonely and low key, but instead the friendships got stronger, more meaningful and I continue to meet fascinating people wherever I go. I learned that although we get older, that age truly is a state of mind and a number. And as for my dating life... Well, Im still working on that one, haha. I -guess- unless youre not single then thats a 100% relationship fail record regardless of age. HOWEVER, every moment spent with another soul is worthwhile, regardless of continuity, which is in effect not a failure. Every moment, every connection, every path crossed with another, has measurable worth and value. We should never forget that. I dont regret a single relationship or friendship in my life. I accept, forgive, learn and also self improve. Some people fear getting older, while I welcome it. As we all know, age is a privilege denied to so many, and instead of fearing it, I say we should all enjoy it. Life itself is so fleeting and so quick that its practically metaphorical visit, a quick swim...- A harmony and cacophony of stimulation before we move on to the currently unknown. Exciting isnt it??
