When you grow up in a small town like Ottawa, KS.... you dont really see anyone make big changes in their lives. It makes it kind of hard to believe you will ever experience anything. I have up and left everything to serve 5 years in the US Navy, been to all corners of America, been on multiple deployments and seen other countries, met people from around the world and worked alongside people from everywhere, got accepted into a dream college in another state and now do some contracting work for US Navy ships as a civilian. No matter what anybody thinks of me, I have taken every bit of opportunity and done something with it. Id like to shout out to all the small town or blue collar families and let you all know.... you can make people know your name.
