When you look around its hard not to get disillusioned. Another political lie, another case of corporate crime on humanity and environment, more apathy, more anger, more hate.... Is that really true of this life if we look deeper under the media veil what would we uncover? I have fallen victim to the constant barrage of negative news, there are things I want to implement, change I wish to effect yet I am weary, my soul is in danger of burn out. Is this the state of mind that the system is aiming to perpetuate - one of fear and fatigue that leaves you resigned in despair and unable to rise above... Yet there are stories of triumph, of courage and compassion - they just dont get the attention of the whole. A prime example of this was on SBS First Contact and the remarkable turn around in the community of Fitzroy Crossing bought about by the courageous woman there. Until last night where was the coverage of this triumph? When life was spiralling out of control due to poverty, drunkenness and violence, reports gained coverage nation wide, fed to us on a regular basis to instill a strong negative bias.. well where are the regular reports to feed us hope and back up positive change.... Change the diet - change the world 💖
