When you look to this cute dog would you believe that he was abused and has a lot to suffer because of that? It was a phone call from a private location near us (a marina) and the person that phoned asked for help because they found a dog in their location in a very poor condition. He had a metal wire tightened around his neck (so tight that it was difficult to be removed even by using a tool) and it was easy to understand that his owners kept him chained without a dog collar and a proper chain but directly with the metal wire around his neck. Judging by the severe wound that the dog has all around his neck, we assume that the poor dog was a prisoner for a long time. Fortunately he was brave enough to escape and run away but now he needs good care to get rid of the wound. We helped straight away after the phone call received. We cleaned the wound and we started the antibiotic treatment that will last for at least 2 weeks. Everything seems to go well with the dog and because he needs a family we will start preparing him for adoption (de-worming, flee treatment, vaccination, sterilization, etc) Gregg, as we named him, is a very loving young dog (around 1 year old) and he even seems to be happy despite of his trauma. He has beautiful eyes & a big heart and we are sure that soon we will find a loving family who will want Gregg in their home. If you can make a contribution towards the costs for the adoption preparation & food for Gregg, you can do so by sending your donation to: Account Holder: Asociatia Staad Bank name: Raiffeisen Bank Address: Mangalia, Romania IBAN (EUR): RO45 RZBR 0000 0600 1438 1191 SWIFT: RZBRROBU Alternatively you can send your donation via Paypal by clicking the Paypal button available on our main FB page or using the Paypal address: staadromania@gmail Together lets give a chance for a better life to the brave & little Gregg
