When you put it together, it made perfect newspaper copy - and Elvis had been cast in the perfect mold. He was six feel tall and quick to punch a boy out if he got out-a-line. His hair was worn long and slicked back and his sideburns came all the way down to the bottom of his ears. He rolled the sleeves on his short-sleeved sport shirts three times to show his biceps, wore his collar pulled up in back and slipped a half-inch leather belt into two-inch loops and shoved his buckle over one hip.
