When you realize you just dont have the energy or desire to keep - TopicsExpress

When you realize you just dont have the energy or desire to keep going and that no matter how hard you try, work, pray, and cry... you just cant do it all... you finally have to ask for help. So... this is my plea for help. We desperately need canned food, dry food, litter, and cleaning supplies. Moreover, we need funds to help vet some feral kittens that are very sick, most likely due to internal parasites, and to have them tested to see if this is all they have wrong with them. As much as we would love to be able to finance everything without asking for any help, we cannot do so. Our funds are drying up just like everyone elses, and we are now losing some of our main supporters who have been with us from the beginning. Times are hard, especially at this time of the year, but without help, our kitties will not be able to receive the care they need. Thankfully, many of you have helped us tremendously over the past few months with your kind donations, but we have had many sick cats the past couple of months, and as a result, our funds are now running very low especially since we now have two diabetic kitties. Thankfully, our Allison does have one sponsor for $15 a month, but as many of you know, diabetic supplies and insulin are very expensive and absolutely necessary for these cats. Therefore, if any of you are able, please consider sponsoring one of these kitties as they need your help to stay healthy. Allison or Sylvester can be sponsored for as little as $5 a month... and every little bit is greatly appreciated and needed. To be honest, their supplies cost us well over $75 a month between the two of them... not including the cost of regular glucose testing or any extra vetting due to their diseases. Therefore, please consider sponsoring one of these two precious kitties and help us so we can keep helping them. Last, I would just like to remind everyone that most of the kitties at Whisketeers Kitty Kingdom will most likely live the rest of their lives in our rescue/sanctuary for numerous reasons. First, many are seniors who have special needs (diabetic, heart problems, incontinent, etc.) and are considered un-adoptable by most people. Second, we have numerous boys... actually the majority... who spray and mark their territory and are also considered un-adoptable by most people. Third, we have several kitties that have special temperaments that will need special homes with patient families that will allow them the time they need to adjust... or families who will adjust to their needs... and these homes are often hard to find. Last, we live in a very rural area with almost no outlets for adoptions such as Petsmarts or Petcos. Therefore, the majority of our felines will be lifetime residents where we will provide for all of their needs including shelter, food, medical care, and most of all, love and attention. Thus, we will not be able to do this alone and will need much help throughout the years. Therefore, any and all help that can be provided is greatly appreciated and will be used to the best of our ability to care for all of the felines in our care. No money is ever spent on wages as all care is provided by volunteers who love these kitties as their own, and the majority of the donations that we receive are spent directly on the medical care of these felines. Again, we want to thank everyone who has/does/or will support us, as we cant do this without you! And our kitties send their thanks and love, too! whisketeers.org/Paypal
