When you really LOVE something or someone, you wanna talk about it all the time right? I know Im constantly yacking about Cody, Bunny, all things 12 year old girls might love (Frozen, rainbows, My Little Pony, comics, Christmas, ice cream, etc.), the kiddos I work with, saving money, and other interests Im passionate about. These are all pretty safe passions to talk about. People can either identify with them or not. And if they dont, its no skin off my teeth. Talking about Beachbody feels different somehow. Im SUPER passionate about the company, the people, and the products, but when I share this passion, I know there is the risk that Ill turn people off. That because Im a Beachbody coach, what Im saying is somehow less genuine than what I have to say about Rainbow Dash or making a family budget and sticking to it. But its not. Im a coach for many of the same reasons Im a social worker... Because I am passionate about the need for the job and the potential power it holds to help others change lives. When I talk about Shakeology or the 21 Day Fix or Energy and Endurance Formula, its very akin to me sharing about community programs or resources that can help families who are going through things they need help with. I talk about these things because I believe in them and their capacity to help people. But just like social work, a coach cant change a person... They can only help a person who has decided to change themselves. And one of the MAJOR differences between social work and coaching is so simple.... Ive USED all the resources I talk about! I have seen them do awesome things for me in my own life. And I want to see these products do the same kinds of amazing things in the lives of others who (like I was) are at a point in their life where they know they need to start taking their health seriously. So just know that whenever you see or hear me talking about Beachbody related things, Im not doing it to try and get you to buy something, Im really just raving about something I love.
