When you sin, do not presume that God does not love you. Instead realize the abundant graces He is giving you to help you repent quicker. Yes, you must go to the Sacrament of confession and you have to be sorry, but God loves you no matter what. He does not want to lose your soul so He will give you every grace you need to choose repentance. It is up to you to choose it or not. If you do not choose the graces, it is not Gods fault that you do not feel spiritually nourished, it is your own daily for having not taken the given graces. Through the Sacrament of confession, we humble ourselves before God and ask Him to restore our friendship with Him. No matter what sin you have committed, if you are truly sorry, it will be forgiven. Let us strive daily to get past our presumption and despair when we sin so that we will choose the beautiful graces to help us repent.
