When you spend the night before Thanksgiving in the emergency room, Thansgiving seems to take on a more precious meaning. Stephens blood pressure got dangerously high and with his history of strokes and a heart attack, there was no room for error. Could have strangled him though, when I heard him say hed been cutting his medicine in half for 2 weeks because he coulnt get an appointment with his doctor. I wont be letting that happen again. Thank God his pressure began to go down almost immediately after he swallowed the pills. So this Thanksgiving, I am so incredibly thankful to my Lord and Savior for blessing us with an amazing hospital less than 5 minutes away. A brilliant medical team that treated my love as if his life was as important to them as it is to me. Our heartfelt thanks to the team of doctors and nurses @the new Wake Med but most of all, thank you, our Father in heaven. Your grace, mercy and blessings amaze me every day. And Thanksgiving has never meant this much. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
