When you start dying, you want to revisit, go back, whatever you - TopicsExpress

When you start dying, you want to revisit, go back, whatever you want to call this once a ‘death-time’ journey and remember people, things, places, happenings which made you live the way you lived. Today I remember Rabbi Shergill’s “Bulla ki jaana main kaun”. I always looked for mysterious layers even in places where none existed. My amateurish quest for mother of all beginnings started with Stephen Hawking’s article in nature magazine titled “The theory of everything”. This was early 90’s. Later me and my friend Irrfan would spend hours discussing Big Bang and potentialities of nothingness in quantum vacuum. Such things would take our minds away from mindless cinema of 90’s. Explained was still unexplained and that’s also the juice in this Rabbi’s spirited song. “Nor did I create Adam Eve nor did I name myself…” https://youtube/watch?v=pTxZy32Fv_0
