When you think of one year some may think thats not a long period of time at all. Others may act like its a lifetime. Honestly, it just depends on the person and what all theyre going through in their lives at that time. This past year, I have done the most growing up that Ive ever done in my entire life. I still have a ways to go, but looking back, I can see a huge difference in the person I am today compared to the person I was then. Today, one year ago, I was proposed to at our family photoshoot. It seemed perfect and I had waiting 9 long years for that special day. Now, Im a single mom to three toddlers. Everything happens for a reason and, eventhough it may seem like youre all alone at times, you are not. God does have a plan for you! I can honestly say, through everything that Ive been through this past year, the super good and the horrible, I have become a better and stronger person. I have learned that I can actually do a lot of things on my own and I dont need a man to depend on. I have learned the difference in wanting and needing. I have learned that, no matter what you think you may know, you really dont. I have learned that friends may come and go, but family is forever. And most of all, I found my purpose in life, or at least one of them, and that is being a mommy! I am so thankful and fortunate that God gave me my three precious baby boys! They truly saved my life and showed me what life was all about! A LOTTTT of stuff has gone on this past year and things definitely arent slowing down, but I am moving foward with a positive outlook on things and knowing that, no matter what may happen in the future, its all part of Gods plan. I may not be rich, happy all the time, or have everything I want, but I AM THANKFUL for what I do have and, eventhough I may not like everything that goes on in my life, I still am content with the way things are. Its all part of the plan, yall. Im just along for the ride!
