When you visit us for the adoption event today, considering purchasing a HEART for Helping Paws, Have a Heart for Paws campaign! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Michelle Nowland, Event Coordinator Helping Paws Animal Shelter 815-474-4556 Cell 815-338-4400 Shelter [email protected] helpingpaws.net Love is in the Air for the Animals with Have a Heart for Paws Woodstock, IL- Love is all you need to make a difference in a pets life! Helping Paws Animal Shelter is partnering with local businesses from February 1 through February 28 with their first ever Have a Heart for Paws campaign. During the month of February, participating businesses will take donations for Helping Paws. Donors who wish to participate can make a donation of a $1 or more and write their name on a paw print which will be displayed at the business showing community support. 100% of the funds donated go towards the feeding and care of the homeless animals at Helping Paws Animal Shelter waiting for their forever homes. This great idea was suggested to us by Dorothy Vetrovec, owner of Natures Feed in Spring Grove. Natures Feed is a long-time supporter of Helping Paws Animal Shelter and donates many hours of time and resources to help raise funds for the shelter and also holds adoption events and other special events throughout the year. Participating locations for the have a Heart for Paws campaign, besides Helping Paws, include: Natures Balance Acupincture-Crystal Lake, Thomas Tails-Crystal Lake, Camp Bow Wow-McHenry, Natures Feed-Spring Grove and Read Between the Lynes-Woodstock. Visit any of these locations to make a donation and to get more information about Helping Paws. If your business would like to partner with the shelter on this campaign or learn about other sponsorship opportunities, please email Ravelle at [email protected]. Helping Paws Animal Shelter is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, founded in 1969 and is located at 2500 Harding Lane, Woodstock, IL 60098. Helping Paws is a no-kill animal shelter for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in McHenry County and surrounding areas.
