When you worry and fret, you use widely-spaced columns of your brain to throw far-reaching connections to something you dont want to happen. When you steadily meditate upon your goals, virtues and values, you use the same process to create great ideas and innovative solutions to achieve the thing you do want. A new connection - a slender neural fiber called an axon, arcing between two or more stored columns of information - forms when you point this amazing idea-generator in a positive direction. But it can also make an undesirable connection if we encode it with negativity. This is not some magical law of attraction but concrete neuroscience, discovered as a result of research into the advantages of the dyslexic processing style. A personal example: conventional exercise compresses your joints when you lift weights. Due to my joint disease, compression caused agonizing pain from the micro-tears in my connective tissue lifting caused. I would fret about the possible injuries and likely pain that Id sustain the following day from the training planned by my team; inevitably, my worry would become a reality, and Id be trapped in a corset of agony, losing days and sometimes weeks to recuperation. Then, at world championships, I observed a folk style of swinging wooden clubs to song when I was in Lithuania in the 90s, by the team from Tajikistan. As I slept, my mind kept arcing new connections about the club swinging, until the idea suddenly SPARKED: if traction is used to repair bone and connective tissue strength, wouldnt swinging weight rather than lifting it, create a new type of fitness than would even allow me to eventually lift weight from the strengthened tissue??? Four years of study and research later, I patented my Clubbell® design and created the first club swinging certification in history: the Circular Strength Training® system. Im stronger now than ever, and tens of thousands of others are now benefiting from that one spark! Theres a crack in every ice cube, invisible to the eye. Fill the tray with the hot water of negativity and it cracks the cube into pieces, exactly the way you had worried. Fill it with the cool water of positivity and it rushes into the cracks, and creates solutions to reach far through the crevices... And generates ideas you hadnt yet dreamed. The positive and negative attitude are not capricious magic which manifests what you want or dont want like a trick. It is simply the miracle of the brain youve been given to generate incredible ideas, purely through the process of feeding it and directing it to positive or negative solutions. Your amazing brain will only create for you the axonal arc --> the bridge
