When your NEW to marketing you need to take massive action and produce? What do you do when your in that phase?? You produce, what ever leads to sells in a moral manner..when you have time. Go for personal sales, dont worry about duplication because I can tell you what the hardest thing to duplicate it is...its zero. Some people get three people in and expect them to do something....like they do. So if they got three and they got three..that still leaves you broke. So you need to sale whatever your product is, day and night and you need to do it now. Some people do all they can to avoid it and they build a team site to teach their team to do what they did to make no money. That leads to their team making more sites due to duplication being king, how about this? Stop worrying about setting up team sites and concentrate on stuff that leads to direct sales. People are always looking for an ace, a heavy hitter, or relying on their team to duplicate. I have a crazy idea..but it might just work... How about you be your own ace, your own heavy hitter.. Crazy I know. Then again...what do I know..
