When your releasing a album, make sure you give yourself at least 6 months promotion, during this 6 months, you should approach all radio stations that would play your kind of music, reach out to bloggers with big followings, approach publicists, organize a tour to follow up your release, definitely a dope release party with a great line up, have a few dope videos like 3 made before you release, have all your digital mediums to sell on ready, have a exclusive listen with a few big labels ( you never know they might take on your album if its dope enough ) it wouldnt hurt to have merchandise lined up for your fans at this stage, dont be like me and push it out with 1 month promotion haha, but big promotion or not Broken Down Doors in my mind is a classic and I hope it will live for ever, much love all my supporters, il doit proper next round I promise....
