When youre in a bind, change your mindset! Dont think drive thru. There are a lot of options! Although, I understand this depends on where you live, I can say most of us have healthy fast easy options that dont require us to pull through a fast food drive thru and theyre still SIMPLE! 1. Always have snacks in the car, in your purse, in the diaper bag. Its not a meal but it can hold you over until you can get home and eat your own REAL food. Almonds, multigrain crackers, PB, etc. 2. Your local grocery store - yes you have to get out of the car and walk in but you cant tell me it takes that much longer than the long line and crowded parking lot and the fast food joint. Our grocery stores have the most amazing soup and salad bars as well as delis and giant bins of fresh fruit. 3. Gas station snacks - I know you are skeptical of this one, but I live in the land of Wawas (Wawa is a gas station in the north that is so much more) and they have a little deli area with fresh fruit, delicious pre made salads and my favorite - the grapes, crackers and cheese snack pack. You CAN do this! #simplifyhealthy
