Whenever I go back to Chicago, it always reminds me of how far Ive - TopicsExpress

Whenever I go back to Chicago, it always reminds me of how far Ive come. The last few years that I lived there, I was extremely depressed. I remember wanting so much more for my life but, being too paralyzed by fear (of failure or success) to actually accomplish anything at all. Most of my days were spent in bed watching Netflix, eating TV dinners, and waiting for the mailman to come with a new batch of DVDs. I barely had the will to work enough to pay my rent and I rarely left my house. I constantly put off any task or goal. I would always say, Ill do it tomorrow. Each day would be the same. At this point in my life, Im so grateful that I took a leap of faith and finally decided to change my life. Within 2 months of that decision, Id sold all of my possessions and moved to New York. If you have a dream or a goal, Do It Now. Tomorrow Isnt Guaranteed. Dont live in the past. Dont measure your value against past failures. Dont measure your self-worth against other peoples lives. Believe In Yourself.
