Whenever I see a commercial for round-up I get pissed off. I would rather have a natural lawn with dandelions mixed in. It is scary how nasty that stuff is, and how often it is used everywhere. My yard has Arizona tree frogs,some grass, clovers, dandelions,snails,a chicken, and TONS of earthworms that come out after a rain, tons of different species of beetles and moths, dragon flies, garter snakes, and lots of birds, and much more. I love it that way. I dont particularly like spiders in my house, but I dont mind them outside, unless theyre crawling on me. I wish more people would stop spraying chemical crap everywhere in their house and yards to suppress nature! It is terrifying how far the human race has strayed from living the natural way weve evolved over millions and millions of years to live. And we wonder why we have so many diseases, so many types of cancer. Look at how we live. We have become terrified of bugs, so we spray toxic poison all over our living areas to kill them....we are terrified of a few germs, even the not so bad germs, so we spray lysol all over our houses and call it healthing lmao I hate those Lysol commercials....healthing my A** Americans have become trained to think they need crap like that. Certain things in the home from time to time may need to be disinfected, a little bleach is okay from time to time. I cant even find any dish soap at the store that doesnt contain antibacterial crap in it anymore...its messed up. Studies have proven that the antibacterial ingredient is ending up in rivers, causing germs to mutate into super germs. Wildlife everywhere is effected from that one stupid antibacterial ingredient that isnt even necessary. It is so ironic that on the dawn dish soap bottle they speak of helping save wildlife... yeah sure...wildlife that was harmed by OUR oil spills... Oh and micro beads in facial scrubs and body washes....whatever happened to using crushed apricot pits or other natural options? Oh no...that wasnt destructive enough. Humans just had to have plastic micro beads...they end up in lakes and oceans everywhere. As if humans hadnt already done enough damage. As a whole the human race is a cancer to this planet, which is sad, considering how complex and smart were supposed to be. I think our complexity might just end up being our downfall. Try not to be so scared of bugs and germs. We have ten times more bacterial cells than human cells in our body. When we constantly use antibacterials and disinfectants we are harming our natural balance of bacteria, and possibly creating super bacteria. Its kind of like taking antibiotics too much when you dont really need them, or not taking the full prescription just because you feel better Plastic crap has made it to depths of the ocean that humans havent even been to yet. Everything is connected on this planet, as we hurt the environment we are just harming ourselves, many of us blissfully unaware of it as we go about our day, living in this crazy plastic and concrete world weve created. Oh but its more convenient they say...In a lot of ways, its actually way more stressful and complicated.
