Whenever politicians are caught with crimes of violence against women,the higher authorities try to hush up the matter.National Security Act should be slapped to all culprits involved in VAW.As per Section 8 (3) of R. P. Act, 1951, if a person is convicted of any offence and sentenced to an imprisonment of 2 years or more, this will be disqualification to contest elections.Maximum cases of crimes against women are against candidates from Bihar (9), followed by Maharashtra (6), and Uttar Pradesh (5).Every candidate should deposit his biometric fingerprint impressions and his data should be corelated with that collected from all police stations and courts. If he is found criminal, his application for candidate should be rejected.Election petitions containing allegations or challenges against criminals who manage to get tickets after paying bribe to ELECTION COMMISSIONER should be tried by the special fast track Court under surveillance of some non-corrupt officials of CBI.
