Whenever the thoughts of the dangerous direction my country is heading to and the envisaged dire consequences to the people, I always shudder and my primary concern is when the country finally explodes who will bail us. Have we ever bothered to imagine the refugee crisis that a full blown war will visit on the country. Which countries in West Africa will contain the refugees in Nigeria as Kano or Lagos population is more than the most populous Country in West Africa. My people cant we bury the belligerent attitude that is leading us to precipice and chart a course of dialogue, consultation, compromise and reconciliation. Remember our children and grand children and great grand children will not forgive us for leaving behind a desolate, dysfunctional, ungovernable or a fragmented nation. A nation that has all it takes to be great, a nation envied by others for it abundant human and material resources. Food for thought compatriots, just thinking a loud. Lets pray that very soon we shall have a messiah that will lead us to greatness. Its not impossible after all Rwanda had travelled the same road. We too had done that before from 1966-1970 except that we have refused to learn our lessons.
