Whenever theres weather like this, I am reminded I need to buy a generator for the barn. I did try to buy one this week, but the Home Depot on Strandherd pulled a really sleazy bait-and-switch tactic. They advertised a generator which was perfectly sized for the barn, pretty good price, their www site said it was in stock. It wasnt on the shelf and the staff said theyd phone me when they found it or ordered one in. Few days later, no record of it, now out of stock. Would I like a $50 off a more expensive model??? The way it was done gave me the feeling they do it all the time. Thats known as bait and switch and is actually illegal. I will officially NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I now only going to shop for the kinds of things that Home Depot sells at Lowes, which seems like a better store anyway, just a little further from me, thats all. I am so pissed at Home Depot!
