Whenever we come across the topic of benefits and taxes etc in lecture I get so angry!! Hard working families are constantly penalised throughout their entire lives; no help with childcare, no free school dinners, no EMA in high school so children have to earn it themselves, rubbish university loans so they have to pay the rest themselves, no help with housing, harsher punishments from the courts especially when it comes to financial penalties and they get taxed on every penny they earn to give to those that dont! Im all up for giving people a helping hand and a push in the right direction but when they have no intention of giving back to society then surely they should be the ones that are penalised? This countrys motto is do less, get more.. what an amazing example to lead for the next generation! Absolutely pathetic!
