Where Are The Passengers? Yesterday several foreign travelers - TopicsExpress

Where Are The Passengers? Yesterday several foreign travelers from West Africa at Newark International Airport and Chicagos OHare International airport were detained after enhanced screenings raised alarms. They were then transported to area hospitals. The Department of Homeland Security reported yesterday that four travelers were recently subjected to additional Ebola screenings at Dulles International Airport and taken to a hospital for further testing. But, according to the Washington Post, the Centers for Disease Control wont comment on the DHS report and the two hospitals closest to Dulles deny they received anyone. Where did these people go? Why wont the CDC comment? Are we going to be treated to yet another round of stonewalling like we got on Benghazi, the IRS scandal and Fast and Furious? Thats not going to assuage fears or spur trust in the bureaucracy. It is in that kind of atmosphere that distrust festers and rumors spread. Yesterday, 16 members of Congress, all of whom are doctors and nurses, wrote to President Obama urging him to impose travel restrictions. Heres an excerpt of their letter: Containment is the key to stopping the spread of this highly contagious and deadly disease, and we strongly urge your administration to consider implementing a temporary travel ban for individuals who are citizens of, or traveled to, affected countries in West Africa. --Gary Bauer, American Values, End of Day Report, Wednesday, October 22, 2014
