Where I am and things that happen to me: Last night a man vomited in a plastic bag in the casino and kept playing the slots. Today, I saw the most clever and covert placement of an oxygen line around a mans face and into his ponytail. Just a few moments ago, I was offered some of the catering. The very sweet Minnesotan woman explained - the meat is something Ive never seen but here. I replied, half-jokingly, Im always up for unusual meat! - she walked toward the back, You betcha! Although I dont entirely agree with the young busboy who just explained how Minnesota is the best state and if I dont know about Detroit lakes, Im not well-traveled ( he didnt register a blink when I name-dropped Kentucky Derby) - I do find Minnesota to be at the absolute brim with character.
